Major computer chip maker ASML says former employees in China stole information about its technology.

The Dutch company said it had since reported the abuse to authorities in the Netherlands and the United States.
However, the company added that it was not "Believe that misappropriation is important to our business."
ASML is one of the most important companies in the global microchip supply chain. It makes the most advanced chip-making machines in the world.
Chips, or semiconductors, are used to power everything from cell phones to military hardware. It is at the center of a bitter dispute between the United States and China.
"We have experienced unauthorized misappropriation of information related to proprietary technology by former employees in (current) China," ASML said in its latest annual report.
"From a security incident Certain export control regulations may be violated. We are taking additional remedial measures for this incident.
