The Florida Panthers have traded goaltender Tim Thomas to the Dallas Stars in exchange for goaltender Dan Ellis. Thomas, 39, signed a one-year, $3.75 million contract with the Panthers prior to this season after choosing to sit out the 2013 NHL season. Rahal took full blame. "With the stack-up on the restart, I was trying to keep the tires as dry as I could, and I was to the left and when I stacked up, I just didnt see him at all," Rahal said. "I just got into the back of him."
